Emergency Root Canal and Crown in Chicago...

So...Crazy day today!!! My aching tooth continued to get worse and worse over the past few days and the pain meds made me lose my lunch... So I woke up this morning in Chicago with even more excructiating pain. I was so worried because I thought there was no way I would be able to go through the Assessment in Chicago with this throbbing pain and not being able to concentrate. So we looked up in the phone book to try and find a decent dentist and saw an add for a dental practice that did same day root canals and crowns. My sweet wife called and made me an appointment at 9am...7 hours and thousands of dollars later (thank God for insurance) my tooth is better than new and I am pain free! God is so good and I think that HE must have some pretty great things in store for the next couple of days! Not exactly what we had in store for our sightseeing day in Chicago, but we are so thankful just to be here and taking one more step towards being used by God to plant a church in Raleigh!!!

  1. Isn't it great to know that God is so happy with you that the enemy has to try one of those end-arounds ?? Love it !!! I miss you guys. can't wait to hear about Jen on the plane !!!
hugs and more hugs, Linda S.

  2. This is quite random but, as it happens, I have a cousin in Chicago in the exact same situation as you were in (needs emergency root canal) and was wondering if you could tell me the name of the dentist you went to, and whether you'd recommend his services?

    Thanks, Erik K.
