A Load Off

I feel a huge load off my shoulders today as I write this. As you may know we are praying for 5 churches to partner with us through prayer/financially/sending mission teams to plant a new church in Raleigh next year. We have one right now...Lifepointe church. This Sunday night I had the opportunity to share with Green Meadows Baptist Church the opportunity to partner with us. It was our first churchwide presentation and I was a little nervous, wanting to do everything I could on my part to accurately portray the need in Raleigh and our passion to be a part of reaching the 300,000 people who need a church family. I felt it went really well and regardless of the outcome it is in God's hands now. Of course, it has been in God's hands all along, but after the presentation was over I just felt a huge peace that God is in control and that HE will provide everything that we need to do everything HE has called us to! Also, another praise...we had 36 people at our two small groups this past week. It has been incredible to watch God drawing people to himself like a magnet!
Prayer Requests:
1. Small Group Praise/Worship night. We are combining our two groups tomorrow for a cookout and praise and worship night. We are praying that God's spirit would be there in a huge way. Also, the guy we are praying about possibly being our worship pastor will be leading the worship time. So continue to pray for discernment for us both as we pray about the future. Finally, we are praying for 40 people to come out!
2. Green Meadows. Please pray for Green Meadows Church as they pray about how God would have them partner with us. Pray that they would be open to God's leading whatever it is.
3. Praise! Our prayer army continues to grow! We are up to about 160 people lifting us up every week! I truly believe that we will see God work in bigger and bigger ways as the number of His people praying for revival in Raleigh grows!
