Season of Prayer

Over the next 21 days Starting Point Church will be learning to "Pray Like Jesus" as we model our prayer lives after the prayer life of Jesus. We believe if you pray like Jesus, you will become like Jesus. During this season of prayer we have three environments to help you grow in your prayer life.

Sermon Series - 8/12, 8/19, 8/26, 9/2 - A four week sermon series studying the prayers of Jesus found in scripture. We will be studying the Lord's Prayer, Garden Prayer, & High Priestly Prayer. If you missed the this week's sermon you can listen to it at

Prayer Guide - On Sunday morning we gave out 21 days prayer guides that will guide you through praying the prayers of Jesus for the next 21 days! This will take as little as 5 minutes a day but will revolutionize your prayer life! If you didn't get a copy on Sunday click on the links to download a digital copy!

Church Wide Prayer Nights - We will be taking a break from life group for 3 weeks starting next week and having three Wednesday night prayer nights.

8/15 - 6:30pm - Cary Christian Church (1503 Walnut St, Cary)
Prayer Stations - the Lord's prayer is made up of 6 different types of prayer. You will have the opportunity to spend time praying a part of the Lord's Prayer at each one of these stations in a unique/creative way that will bring the Lord's Prayer to life in a fresh way!

8/22 - 6:30pm - Meet at your campus meeting location. Either Mission Valley Theater (2109 Avent Ferry Rd, Raleigh) or Apex Middle School (400 East Moore St, Apex).
Prayer Walk - We will spend time prayer walking over each one of our campuses. We will pray for God's will to be done in our church, modeled after Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane.

8/29 - 6:30pm - Cary Christian Church (1503 Walnut St, Cary)
Community Prayer - We will spend time praying for one another and the needs of our community. If you or someone you know needs to be prayed over, then don't miss this night! We will also have a time of praying for the physically ill.

Let's learn to pray like Jesus together!
