4 reasons not to miss our 2YR Anniversary Sunday!

I am so excited to celebrate our 2 Year Anniversary this weekend at Starting Point Church! Here are four reasons not to miss this Sunday!  It will be the perfect Sunday to invite a friend to come and celebrate with us.

1. Anniversary Party - We will be celebrating our TWO YEAR BIRTHDAY by having a PARTY!  It will be held after the second service at 12:30pm at Walnut Street Park, 1420 Walnut St., Cary NC. We will be having a delicious lunch cooked by our famous Starting Point Chef, games for kids & adults and baptisms.  We are asking each family to please bring something for the lunch: If your last name start with A-C: bring chips, D-M: bring a side dish and N-Z: bring a dessert.

2. Taboo (new series) - We are starting a new series this week covering topics normally not discussed in church: Politics, Porn, Racism and Homosexuality. If you have ever wondered what the bible says about these subjects, you will not want to miss this series.   This Sunday we will kick things off by talking about the Bible and politics.  No matter your political affiliation…you don’t want to miss this!

3. NC State Football Players - NCSU football team captain & linebacker Sterling Lucas, tight-end Asa Watson, and offensive lineman Evan Bumgarner will be sharing their faith stories at our Raleigh Campus this Sunday at both worship services. Join us to hear their story of faith and how they live it out on the football field.

4. AWANA Kickoff – The much awaited kickoff of our new children’s ministry program called AWANA is officially here!  Remember that 96 percent of Awana alumni continue to regularly attend church as adults, compared to only 36 percent of Americans in a recent national survey. When a child completes Awana they will have memorized 300 Bible verses and know all of the books of the Bible.  If you have not registered your child yet…do it now! www.startingpointchurch.com/awana

We are excited to celebrate what God has done and eagerly await what he will do in the future of Starting Point Church!

Happy Birthday to us...
