Nehemiah 4 - SOAP Meditation

Opposition is inevitable whenever God calls a group of people to do something great for him!  We should not expect Satan to sit idly by and watch God's Kingdom advance.  Another timely passage from God for our church during this All In season!

My prayer in posting this is for you to be inspired to read and meditate on each chapter of the book of Nehemiah yourself!  I pray meditating on God's Word becomes an essential part of the life of every person at The Point Church! (Psalm 1:1-3).  Below is my SOAP meditation from the fourth chapter of the book of Nehemiah

S "Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord is great and awesome and fights for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your homes. Neither I nor my brothers nor my men nor the guards with me took off our clothes, each had his weapon, even when he went for water." Vs 14,23

O The people were not to be afraid but they were to always be on guard because they never knew when the enemy might strike.

A I should not be afraid of Satan and the darkness but I should always be on guard and ready to be attacked. I need to stay focused on the Word and prayed up.

P Father help me to not be afraid but always read to fight against opposition from the evil one. In Jesus name. Amen.
