The Point Church is coming to NORTH RALEIGH!

At our 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY we shared that we are starting a North Raleigh Campus in 2016 and that we are pursuing a permanent location for our Raleigh campus. I am excited to be able to share more of the details with you now!

What's happening in North Raleigh?

The North Raleigh Campus will begin March of 2016 in the North West part of the city, and it will be planted by our current Raleigh Campus pastor, Bill Finley. Bill grew up in North Raleigh, his family lives there, his kids go to school in North Raleigh, he's the chaplain at Trinity Academy, and much of his extended family lives in North Raleigh. He feels sent to plant this Campus! I want to include a personal message from him to each of you:

“Over the past six months, through various circumstances and conversations, God has been increasingly burdening my heart for lost people on the north side of Raleigh. At our church’s 5 year anniversary, I clearly sensed God leading me to step forward and put my YES on the table to leave the comfort of the Raleigh campus and be SENT out to help start another campus. I am so excited to see what God is already doing in bringing various pieces together for the launch of this new campus in North Raleigh." - Bill Finley

Over 200 people put their YES on the table at The Point Church’s 5 Year Anniversary. If you feel N. Raleigh is where God is asking you to go, we encourage you to check out the first Launch Team Meeting on October 25 from 7:00-8:00pm @ the Stonebridge Clubhouse (405 Emerywood Dr., Raleigh, NC  27615) and childcare is provided. If you are interested in helping at all in N. Raleigh email Bill Finley (billf@pointchurch.com) to let him know!

 What's Happening in Raleigh?

We are currently pursuing a merger with Inwood Church in South Raleigh off of Lake Wheeler Road. They're having a townhall meeting on October 25th which will help determine the direction of this merger. If all goes well, our Raleigh Campus and Inwood would be one church and we would be in a permanent location in early 2016. We believe this will be a great next step for the Raleigh campus and make it stronger than ever before. If you currently attend our Apex or Cary Campus and live in the South Raleigh, Garner, or Clayton area this would be a great opportunity for you to help our Raleigh Campus start strong in a new permanent facility!

Please continue to put your “Yes” on the table and be in prayer about how God is asking you to point people to Jesus with The Point Church in 2016!
